Submarine!!!!
well now it's Thursday and its been a changeable week with the weather, the world and what to worry about . Weather has been some snow and lots of cold , begging me to stay indoors except for one paint session in the garage and one short session of touring the garden while tidying some edges of the drive. The paintings, all 2 of them that are being worked in tandem, are coming along as I now feel more comfortable with the technical transition of brush to canvas that does not bounce as i press onto the surface. This is surprisingly different and changes how i approach the action of applying the paint., Not necessarily improved but different.
Another day felt like the sky most definately was falling in and chicken Lickin was coming down with it. My phone had the new battery but suddenly I could not make calls.! Then as i started to finalise ideas of renting a car, i needed to check on travel insurance that had recently been renewed. This led to contacting the travel insurance company, who pointed out that my coverage was invalid because of clear miscommunication from the company agent. This meant even though the 6 month stay here that would be renewed by spending a day I in Seattle would also be in jeapody. as ihad not coverage! How could this be!!!!. However, Beth did a triumphant job of ensuring that my travel insurance coverage was rightfully reinstated and sorted out the phone And i was able to breath again . That was a day to be sure never gets a repeat performance ..
Today was an easy 3!!!! buses trip day with not much exciting happening, apart from the bus, for the second time, failed to stop at my stop and taking me another 1/2 mile up the hill with my bag of shopping!!!
Then imagine if you will, me sitting at my table with a fine mix of paint, sketchbooks and tea in hand. I glance out the window at the place where two massive pine trees form a triangular window of sea that is Juan de Fuca Srait, that typically has a large container ship perfectly placed at the centre of my view. I speculate that this exact spot is where large ships anchor often waiting several days to enter Vancouver harbor and this spot is where i think the border of Canada and USA intersect, just about on that famous 49th parallel .
So I am looking at the ship but now i see? what ? a submarine !!!. Binoculars confirm that this military thing is out there in my triangle or water being a submarine and How many times does that happen !!!?

Very cool! I like your triangle.
