why a Japanese garden functions to perfection

 The Japanese Garden

No matter the day, the time, or the people in your midst. this garden fills one with  clear and blissful sense of the peaceful Whole.
there is a sense that the trees are intentionally planned and pruned to provide shade. The shade provides the calm that the light filters through in pockets that  are like small windows through which to view and reflect. The Japanese garden is inviting the visitor to focus on detail; to compare subtle colour and shape, light and shadow. With each natural motif that nature provides, the viewer is invited to experience  perfect union. But nothing here is waiting to be seen or demanding your attention. It is the quiet matter of air and plant and light that completes the experience. We just breathe.
